About me

Hi, I'm Jenny.

I am a BACP-registered integrative therapist working in Sheffield and also online.

Integrative therapy basically means I don't follow one theoretical model, instead I draw from a range of different ideas and techniques depending on your needs as a client.

That said, I have some core ideas that are at the heart of my work. Most important of all to me is the relationship that we would build together as therapist and client - one which is focussed on trust, safety and rapport.

I also love to work creatively, using imagery, music, art and play to explore those thoughts and feelings that can't quite be put into words.

I am also interested in thinking together with my clients about their past experiences (be those good, bad, or average) and how these might be showing up in the present day.

If you'd like to hear more, please do get in touch.

FAQs

Things you might be wondering.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is a chance to think about what brings you to therapy, set some goals and explore how we could work together. It is also a chance for you to decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

How does integrative therapy work?

Integrative therapy draws on different therapeutic approaches. This means I will work with you to understand which processes or methods might work best to help you move forward. Sort of like a therapy pick n mix.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no set number of sessions - some people find that short-term work is enough, others may need longer. My approach is to review how things are going for you every six sessions or so.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes.

Do you offer low-cost sessions?

I have a limited number of concessionary rate sessions available, please reach out to discuss this.
